MNPL (MoNophonic/PoLyphonic) is a Belgian electronic music duo focused on performance and improvisation, bringing together Andrea Tonero and Eliott Delafosse. With backgrounds in classical and experimental music, they first connected through ambient and noise jams, gradually shaping a techno project built around live modular synthesizer sets. They have released several ambient and techno EPs.
In an era increasingly shaped by Artificial Intelligence, they go against the grain by offering fully improvised electronic music.
Refusing to be confined to any specific aesthetic, their project is conceived for live performance rather than traditional tracks, shifting from melodic to hypnotic to industrial sounds, and ranging from 130 to 155 bpm depending on the mood.
